Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

IPL calms the inflammation behind dry eye by targeting the abnormal blood vessels that keep the eyelid oil glands from working.

The Lumenis OptiLight brings healing to dry eyes by alleviating abnormal, inflamed blood vessels that clog the eyelid glands. This levels out the tear film and restores function to the meibomian glands.

It is a gentle, in-office light treatment with no downtime, typically done as a short series of sessions and often paired with thermal expression for the fullest effect.
